A 16-kilometre road was opened officially in Lashkargah city, capital of Helmand province, yesterday. The Helmand City Mayor, Mohammad Fazal Safi, participated in the inauguration ceremony along with other officials.
HERAT - Public health officials in Herat announced the start of campaigns against measles and polio in the province. The campaign will last for six days. Herat governor encouraged citizens to support the programme. More than 500,000 infants in Herat will receive the jab.
