KABUL - Government officials from restive Helmand province in southern Afghanistan travelled all the way to the capital, Kabul, earlier this week to get their calls for more investment for development of the province heard.

KABUL - A nationwide awareness raising campaign on “Police Taking Action to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls in Afghanistan” kicked off yesterday with the aim to support and improve capacity of the police officers, who would subsequently ensure rights of the victims.
