KANDAHAR - The National Solidarity Programme (NSP) has completed 36 projects in Shah Wali Kot, Nesh and Arghasan districts of Kandahar province.

The completed projects include construction of protection walls, clean drinking water and Karez cleaning.

Twenty-five projects were implemented in Nesh, nine in Arghasan and two in Shah Wali Kot district.

Kandahar Governor Dr Toryali Wesa spoke about mismanagement of some NSP projects, however, expressed satisfaction about the completed projects in Shah Wali Kot, Nesh and Arghasan districts.

He requested the local development Shuras to identify projects according to their needs and priorities.

It is worth mentioning that NSP has established 1,500 local development Shuras in the 14 districts of Kandahar.
