NANGARHAR - In district number one of Jalalabad city, 3,650 meters of road was rehabilitated at a total cost of US$ 43,500 funded by UN Human Settlement Programme (UN-HABITAT), with ten per cent contribution by local community.

Speaking at a ceremony, representatives from municipality, urban development department and local community, thanked UN-HABITAT for funding this project and asked for the continuation of such valuable projects in other parts of the city.
