KHOST: Tribal disputes resolution meeting held

KABUL - The provincial government in Khost province organized two day disputes resolution program to address the often intractable conflicts that arise among tribes in the province

To solve these conflict, with roots that extend back many decades are because of mountains, valleys, deserts and forests, the meeting was not only joined by provincial authorities but tribal elders throughout the province participated.

Governor Abdul Jabar Naeemi said tribal conflicts have been encompassed every region and tribe and halted a number of government activities in the province and have caused to threaten people of one tribe by another through Afghan and foreign forces.

Daud Shah Makeenzoai, Provincial Council chief asked tribal elders to cooperate the government in finding effective and sustainable solutions for the prevailing disputes otherwise in the very next future it will have unwanted consequences for the residents.
