HELMAND - 54 robbers were arrested by Helmand police during the month of June in Lashkar Gah and its belonging areas.

Helmand chief of police colonel Abdul Nabi Alham said on Sunday 17th June; Police arrested 54 robbers in Lashkar Gah and its belonging areas during the current ongoing month and he added they are those robbers who were robbing in inside Lashkar Gah and other areas and they as well robbed on the main roads and they wanted to enhance anarchy situation in the Lashkar Gah city and other areas.”

Alham said; “the arrested robbers are divided into four parties and each party is accused of different crimes and police arrested each party during one weak.”

He said; “the cooperation of the civilians had great role regarding the arresting of the robbers and that is why police were able to arrest and surround to the constitution hundreds of the criminals during one month.”

Alham also asked the civilians to permanently increase own cooperation with the security forces so that security forces prevent the crimes in the society.
