HELMAND: Clean water network ready for use in Helmand province

HELMAND - Clean water network was constructed and ready for use in Nad-e-Ali district of Helmand province.

Governor Al-haj Mohammad Naem, deputy minister for rural rehabilitation and development affairs, Mohammad Tariq Asmaty and authorities from Nad-e-Ali district opened clean water network for use in Nad-e-Ali district of Helmand province Wednesday.

The governor said in the opening ceremony that the clean water tank is three meter high and has the capacity of 45 cubic meters. The tanker was constructed during last six months by the ministry of rural rehabilitation and development affair’s rural development program.

“In total, the expenditure for the reconstruction of the water tank was 160,000 US dollars funded by Denmark and so far, several other development projects are under way the province,” he said. “4000 families around the district centre will benefit for the clean drinking water,” he further said

The government has promised to provide beneficial services in several fields to the people of the areas and villages of Helmand province so that people can have comfortable and relieved life.
