EAST - During this year, a total of 671 families have returned from Pakistan to three eastern provinces – Nangarhar, Laghman and Kunar - with the assistance of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

UNHCR said every returnee to Nangarhar was provided with the cash assistance of US$ 137 each, while each returnee to Laghman and Kunar provinces received US$ 147.
