KUNDUZ: Forty Taliban militant join peace process in Baghlan

KABUL - According to Baghlan Chief of Police, Asadullah Sherzad, a group of Tilaban reached forty joined peace process in Fring district of Baghlan on Friday.

Sherzad said that, Baghlan National Directorate of Security efforts, resulted joining of the Taliban group to peace process and they delivered their weapons to security organs as well.

Abdul Wali, the commander of reconcilers group said they were tired of fighting, therefore decided to join peace process and participate in Afghanistan’s construction.

According to Baghlan Security officials, over 150 Tilaban militants have joined peace process since the beginning of the current year (1391) in this province.
