BAMYAN - Officials at the Department of Disaster and Emergency Response in Bamyan province started distribution of winterization packages for 7,000 poor families in the province.

Ahmed Reza Rafat of the Disaster and Emergency Response Department told media that they were distributing the winter kits to poor families in the harshest time of the winter in Yakawlang, Shiber, Waras and Panjab districts.

Each winter kit includes warm clothes and food items.
