The report provides a summary of key political and humanitarian developments in Afghanistan as well as of the activities of the United Nations
Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) from 1 December 2003 to 22 November 2004. The issues covered in the report are described in more detail in the periodic reports to the General Assembly and Security Council submitted during 2004 (A/58/742-S/2004/230 and A/58/868-S/2004/634). Ful report
