24 March 2015 - The latest UNAMA report on Protection of Civilians in Armed Conflict shows that increased ground engagements between parties to the armed conflict in Afghanistan are behind a 22 per cent rise in conflict-related deaths and injuries of Afghan civilians and the biggest killers of women and children in 2014.
