KHOST - Tribal elders in Afghanistan’s south-eastern Khost province pledged on Saturday said that they would not only participate in the upcoming elections but would also assist the government in ensuring security.

Speaking at a meeting, the tribal elders from Tani district of the province elders decided that if transparency of the elections was ensured, “our people will not only participate in the process but we will provide volunteers for security maintenance.”
