KABUL - Adopting a new anti-corruption strategy and implementing several initiatives in a broad anti-corruption agenda demonstrate Afghanistan’s commitment to countering corruption, finds a new United Nations report released today.
JALALABAD - While media should continue to play a crucial role in democracy and freedom of expression, Afghan journalists must be protected, participants said in televised discussions following earlier observances of World Press Freedom Day in Nangarhar and Kunar.
