HERAT - At a UN-backed event in the western province of Herat, community leaders discussed improving ways to protect children from the impact of the armed conflict in Afghanistan.
BAMYAN - A new UN-backed radio series is promoting Afghan women’s public participation and leadership responsibilities in the central highlands province of Bamyan.
SHUHADA - Community leaders singled out education as being the key to protecting and advancing the rights of women, particularly those living in rural areas, during a UN-backed event in Shuhada, a district in the northeastern province of Badakhshan.
