Lack of medical services in Ghazni

GHAZNI - The people of Ghazni Province are complaining of shortage of quality health services and the indifference of medical staff towards patients in provincial hospitals and health facilities.

The Provincial Hospital in Ghazni, besides treating the internal patients, also receives patients from the neighbouring Zabul, Paktika and Wardak provinces.

“There is no doctor in Ghazni Civil Hospital from 4pm to 8am. Most of the doctors sit in private hospitals or health clinics. The doctors-prescribed medicines can't be found in common drug stores and are available only in some particular medical stores where they have percentage shares,” alleged patient Habibullah.
