KANDAHAR: 30 women receive training in beauty parlour

KANDAHAR - About 30 women have been trained on beauty parlour in Kandahar, enabling them to support their families financially.

The women graduated from the three-month training, conducted by the Kandahar Municipality, and were given certificates at a ceremony held at the Kandahar Women’s Affairs Department.

“We thank the ramp-up programme (of the Kandahar Municipality) for organizing the beauty-parlour training. We request the continuation of their programmes in the future,” said Kandahar City Mayor, Mohammad Omar Omar, at the ceremony.

The head of the Kandahar Women’s Affairs Department, Rukia Asakzai, also thanked the ramp-up programme officials and the Mayor for organizing of the training.
