KHOST - The foundation stone of the three school buildings for a higher Secondary and two primary schools were laid down in Khost province, said provincial officials on Sunday. 

While talking in the inaugural ceremony of the school buildings, Khost governor Abdul Jabar Naeemi said education is the only mean through we can achieve our ultimate goals.

The three storey higher secondary school's building with 30 classrooms, three administrative rooms and two primary school's building will be completed within period of one year with cost of Afs 65 million, provided by Ministry of Counter narcotic as reward for non poppy cultivating, Mirnagul Taniwal, head of the Counter narcotic said.

The mentioned school’s buildings will solve students problem to great extent but recently 40 per cent schools in Khost have no buildings, students either read under tents or trees, Bakht Noor Bakhtia, Education Department head said.
