  • 02 May 2014 - KABUL - The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) condemns the suicide car bombing which took place in the central eastern province of Panjshir yesterday, killing at least 15 people – including seven civilians. As well, more than a dozen people were injured, including civilians, with casualties expected to rise in the coming days.

  • 25 Apr 2014 - KABUL - The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) condemns the killing of three civilians by a gunman yesterday at a private hospital in Kabul. All three slain were foreigners who selflessly helped people of Afghanistan in need of medical assistance. The gunman is reported to be a security officer. The motive behind the attack is unknown and no organization has claimed responsibility.
