KABUL - Afghanistan’s two Presidential candidates – Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, along with their Vice-Presidential running mates and other leading members of their teams – separately met with Ambassadors and other high-level representatives of the international community in Kabul on Tuesday, 1 July 2014.The gatherings were facilitated by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA).
The meetings provided an opportunity to engage in discussions about election-related issues and the way forward.
