28 October 2010, Kabul - Today marks the first anniversary of the attack on a United Nations guest house in Kabul which resulted in the death of five UN workers. The United Nations today held ceremonies in the capital, Kabul, and in regional centres to remember and honour our fallen colleagues. We link here to a UN News Centre story remembering and celebrating their lives and contributions to the United Nations, published last year: United by a common goal, fallen UN staff aimed to help Afghans.
