NEW YORK - The latest quarterly report by the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the situation in Afghanistan and the activities of the United Nations in the country was released today and is available here. <>The UN Security Council is scheduled to discuss the report at a 16 March meeting in New York. There will be live webcast of the meeting on UN Web TV. Nicholas Haysom, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan and UNAMA head, will deliver remarks at the meeting.
