The District Chief of Andar, Mohammad Qasam Desiwal said that these projects included construction of protection walls, small bridges, drinking water supply among others. He hoped that the projects, after their completion, would boost the confidence of people on the Government.

He however said that the schools and health clinics didn’t have proper building while agriculture sector had not been given much priority. He added that the new project had been launched in the Government-controlled areas.

The most important of the projects is the construction of 22-km canal of the Sarda Dam, which has also provided job opportunities for hundreds of residents.
