TASHKENT - Nicholas Haysom, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, met on Monday in Tashkent with Abdulazis Komilov, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan.

During his two-day visit to the Central Asian republic, Mr. Haysom is scheduled to meet with several senior Uzbek and other officials as part of the UN’s work to support Afghanistan’s bilateral and multilateral political dialogue and socio-economic development with neighbouring countries.
