The asphalting of a road across from the Balkh provincial police office was inaugurated by the Minister of Public Works in the presence of Balkh Provincial Governor and MPs.

Balkh provincial chief of police Esmatullah Alizai held the meeting of the district chiefs of police attended by 14 district chiefs of Balkh province. The meeting focused on security issues.

Two foreign nationals, Musa from the Republic of Chad and Ali from the Republic of Cameroon, were arrested by Afghan National Police (ANP) in the presence of representative of Prosecution Department and other security related organs in relation to spreading counterfeit money in Mazar Sharif.

Three Taliban from Andkhoy district whose names are Farid Ahmad, Mohammad Daud and Hedayatullah were arrested in the act of collecting illegal taxation from the people.
