KABUL - The UN Security Council session on the situation in Afghanistan is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 2 March, 10.00 New York time (19:30 Kabul local time) and can be followed live at http://webtv.un.org

The session will also be available as a viewable video clip on UN Web TV a few hours after proceedings conclude.

Deborah Lyons, The Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, will brief the Council as part of the session.
