KHOST - A peace running competition among the people with physical disabilities was held in Khost province, said local officials on Saturday.

Main objective of the competition was to express support for the ongoing peace and reconciliation process, to give message to the conflicting parties to shun violence and work for peace and stability of the country, said Aziz Malang, the Olympic Director said.

The competition was attended by players from different parts of the province, he said, adding that his department had also organized football tournaments under the banner “Let’s abolish administrative corruption”.
