KABUL - In order to develop the quality of education in the country, the Ministry of Education conducted a seven-day workshop for the heads of 34 provincial education departments in Kabul. The workshop was opened yesterday by Deputy of the Ministry of Education, Sediq Patman in Kabul.

“During the last 11 years, the Ministry of Education has had of a lot of achievements besides having some challenges as well,” said Mr. Patman to the workshop participants.

He also said that during the seven-day workshop, very important issues such as development of the quality of education, increasing the number of female teachers in the schools and some other important matters were discussed.

Speaking about the students of the schools which were closed for long time in the provinces, the deputy of Ministry of Education said that they will be taught through fast education methods in order to be able to complete their education.

During the workshop, necessary decisions were taken on educational strategic plans as well as provincial education three-year plan.
