BAMYAN: Over US$ 121 million spent on development

BAMYAN - Over US$ 121 million will be spent on development projects in Bamyan province, according to officials. The budget will be spent on major projects in agriculture, education, roads and electricity.

Mohammad Ali Najafi, the head of Sectoral Services of Bamyan told Pajhwok news that US$ 52 would be spent through the local administration while US$ 13 million would be spent through line ministries.

“Another US$ 56 million is part of the budget and used through International NGOs. The provincial authorities today discussed to prioritize the projects and ensure effectiveness of the expenses,” he added.
