KABUL - UNAMA released a report today entitled “ The Stolen Lands of Afghanistan and its People, Part 1: The Legal Framework”.

The document, prepared by the mission’s Rule of Law Unit, provides an analysis of the land administration and management framework in Afghanistan.

UNAMA plans to release two more reports in this series with focus on the state land distribution scheme and land grabbing.

The report will soon be available in Dari and Pashto.
