Top UN officials travel to Khost to meet displaced families ahead of winter
KABUL, 30 October 2014 – The United Nations’ most senior official coordinating humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan visited the troubled southeastern province of Khost to show solidarity with the thousands of displaced families in the area and underscore the world body’s commitment to them as winter approaches.
